Educational Background:
Loyola University, BA in English.

Number of Years Teaching:
I taught the Extended Day class in the 1990's at WCNS just after college-many moons ago. It is so wonderful to be back as a substitute and a Splendid Day teacher last year. I look forward to teaching enrichments for the 2016-2017 school year!

Family and Pets:
My husband Tim and I have two boys--Timmy (16) and Beckett (13). They are the light of my life. My favorite line from Jack Johnson's song Go On pretty much sums up how I feel about those two: "I gave you your life, but you gave me mine".  A new pup is in our future soon!

List five values you wish to pass onto children:

  • Honesty
  • Love
  • Peace
  • Hard Work
  • Gratitude

What do you like about yourself?
I think I am pretty good at multi-tasking. In addition to my time here, I am president & owner of Village Nannies--providing quality childcare since 1998! My friends say I am fun to be around and I am always willing to lend a hand.

What did you want to be when you were little?
When I was little, I had wanted to be a lawyer. My mom always said I would make a fine lawyer because I always had a lot of questions and "all the answers, too".

How are you an active member of your community?
Community is important to me because we are all a part of something much greater than ourselves. It is the place that connects then grounds us.  I stay active in my community mostly through volunteer work at our family parish, St. Francis Xavier, at my children's schools and outdoor classrooms, and through various community service opportunities. It is good to be busy in our communities.
