Splendid Day: A Kindergarten and Preschool Enrichment Program

Splendid Day is an afternoon enrichment program which provides an opportunity for creative and interactive play with other children in a mixed-age group setting.  This fun and stimulating program emphasizes socialization and the building of each child’s self-esteem through play—the natural development learning experience of children.  Our teachers are experienced in early childhood education and aware of the individual needs of children as well as the dynamics of an age-diverse group.  The Splendid Day program includes a hot and nutritious lunch catered by Organic Life, classroom group time, daily art projects, season-focused activities and extensive outdoor play.

Additional details:

The program is open to all children age 3 (before September 1) through kindergarten.

Program hours are from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, with a pick-up window between 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Your child may attend from 1-5 days per week.

Bus service is available for Senior Kindergarteners enrolled in the Winnetka Public Schools.
